Is Erectile Dysfunction Hereditary?
The condition in which men are not able to get penis erection or they are not able to keep their penis erect for enough time while performing sexual activity, is known as erectile dysfunction. This is a problem with lots of men that happens at a particular point of time in their lives. According to experts about 70 percent of men throughout the world suffer from this specific sexual problem. Men with this problem feel embarrassed and ashamed in front of their partners. In the study it was revealed that 20 percent of men as well as their sons were suffering from diabetes and has erectile dysfunction. Overall in 45 percent of the cases it was observed that both father as well as the son was suffering from erectile problem. But it was not clear that the problem of penile erection in the sons came from their fathers. This is due to the reason that other factors were there that can cause this problem. Lots of scientists and doctors are trying to find an answer to this question. But till now there has been no reasonable and satisfactory answer. It is also being claimed by several scientists that this sexual dysfunction issue cannot be a hereditary problem because proper erection is not caused by any gene. It is said by some scientists that no studies regarding penile erection has been conducted at gene level.Â Thus male enhancement and penis enlargement products are being used at a great rate.
It is still not proved that erectile dysfunction can be hereditary. There are various other causes behind this problem.
